How We Process Files
Most DocFuse tools run entirely in your browser. PDF merge, split, rotate, sign, OCR, and CSV conversion happen client-side using JavaScript.
Your files never leave your device for these tools. No uploads. No server processing. No cloud storage.
Server-side conversions (Office to PDF) process files temporarily and delete them immediately after conversion. Files are not logged or inspected.
What We Don't Do
- No selling or sharing user data
- No training AI models on user files
- No permanent file storage
- No tracking beyond basic analytics (page views, tool usage)
Best Practices for Users
For highly sensitive documents (financial records, legal contracts, medical files), use client-side tools only or consider offline alternatives.
Client-side tools work offline once loaded. You can disconnect from the internet before processing sensitive files.
